About Nicholas S. Sweeney
Meet Attorney Nicholas S. Sweeney
Nicholas S. Sweeney is a dedicated attorney who joined our firm early in 2016. While at William Mitchell College of Law, Nick was a member of the trial advocacy team; he also logged over 300 hours working in the William Mitchell Clinics. This experience prepared him well to embark on his practice. Today he focuses on advocacy for plaintiffs in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. Outside of the office, Nick serves as vice chairperson of the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Committee of the American Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division.
Over the past several years, Nick has gained invaluable experience with other Twin Cities law firms and developed a genuine passion for representing injury victims. He knows what matters most to people hurt on our roadways, on the job, and in other types of accidents.

Raised in Kansas City, Nick earned his B.A. from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. With his sights already set on a career in litigation, he majored in Political Science and minored in Sociology. He also fed his competitive streak by playing on the lacrosse team. Nick married the love of his life, Mary, in August 2015. He spends his free time remaining active in martial arts, tennis and soccer.
